A Response to the Interviews

Well, it's been a little over a week since the interview re-debuted, and I feel it was a success. Quite a lot of people checked them out and chimed in their support, while others wrote in on ways to improve things. Obviously, many thanks to all who wrote in and have been checking them out. Be sure and catch the new interview come this Monday, April 4th.

Anyway, I have written a (long) reply in regards to the interviews. Please feel free to check it out by visiting this page.

ALMOST There

Yes, yes, I've been telling you that the interviews are thiiisss close to being re-released many a time before. Well, now that is actually a statement that has some merit to it. I'm fairly happy with the current format, and I think the interviews will be coming back in less than two weeks, maybe even sooner. So stick around with the RSS feed here, and stay tuned. We're close people... so very close.

Another Setback

I'm in the process of making the site become dynamic instead of static. I currently update everything on the site by hand using Notepad, so I'm trying to upgrade the site. I am trying to extend this to the interviews, so although I have some completed interviews, I will extend the re-opening of the interviews until about two more weeks while I upgrade the site. Yes, another setback, but be patient. It will be worth it. Oh... and Brandon from Photoblogs.org is trying to cook up something to work the sites together when it comes to interviews. Again, patience is a virtue... and it will be (hopefully) worth it...

Almost Done...

I'm getting there with the interviews. I'm actually pretty nervous as to whether or not you'll like the new format. It's kind of the opposite of what I was going for, but I feel it will be better for me in that I can bring them to you weekly with no problems, but am hoping that they'll provide enough info. Either way, I'm working hard, and I'm hoping to bring this to you within a week or two. Stay tuned folks...

Interviews Are Back

The interviews have certainly had me thinking a lot over the last weeks. I've missed them, and feel they are important. I have also seen three other sites come up with their own interviews, and I have my own reservations towards them, but I still think interviews are important. More people need to know about the minds behind photoblogs.

SO... after receiving over 200 emails from you fine folks regarding the interviews, I have taken your suggestions, ideas, thoughts, demands, etc., and have a new twist on the interviews. A fresh design, presentation, and format will follow. There will also be a new name, and I'm working very hard to bring this all to you by the start of the New Year.

Some of you may hate the new format, others (from what I can tell from your emails) will like them. Hopefully all will be fine. And if you're reading this, then obviously you've subscribed to the interviews RSS feed. Thanks, and expect something within the next week or so.
